Cable set water temperature connection speedometer for Vespa GTS/​GTS Super 125-300ccm ('14-)

Since the model series from 2014, in which PIAGGIO has installed new speedometers, the Vespa GTS no longer has the water temperature display as standard, only the warning light signals that the engine is overheating . In combination with the SIP digital speedometer / tachometer, the cable set offers the option of displaying the water temperature display (bar graph on the left in the display) on the GTS facelift models from 2014.

The speedometer is connected to the "TEMP B" connector, the cable must then be routed through the frame in order to be connected to the engine's temperature sensor. The green plug of the temperature sensor has two assignments, but only two are used. The two remaining slots are provided with green placeholder pins, these must be pulled out with needle-nose pliers in order to insert the connectors of the SIP cable set there. The red cable must be connected to pin no. 2 and the black cable to pin no. 4.

ATTENTION: Work on the speedometer such as replacing the speedometer glass, repairs, etc. may only be carried out by SIP Scootershop GmbH or specialist workshops. Unauthorized modifications (e.g. opening the speedometer) will void the warranty.
